Following a feasibility study we developed the design for a refurbishment of 95 Regent Street in central Cambridge. The building had previously been let to Lloyds Bank and was their main branch comprising banking hall and offices. Howard Group asked us to breathe new life into the unused building on this prominent site and create a building fit for a new type of tenant keen to work in the centre of the city.

The scheme was completed in September 2019

Our proposals were to make subtle, but important, interventions to the exterior elevations of the building and improve the landscaping and public realm. This was achieved by forming a new entrance and reception and re-landscaping the frontage onto the main road with a low-level fence to create defensible space to the ground floor offices. The design also includes new toilets and a cycle centre in the heart of the building as well as contemporary open plan office space.
