We undertook a number of studies for the development of a backland site in central Cambridge. The project as constructed contains new south-facing flats overlooking a playground and parking area off a shared paved entrance way, accessed from Great Eastern Street. The end house on Great Eastern street itself was extended to provide two separate flats.
The new buildings are part rendered under a metal roof, whereas extensions to the existing nineteenth century terrace have second -hand bricks and slate roofs.
