The client’s vision for the site was to breathe life into this tired, yet prominent building and to create a sustainable and accessible workplace to support Cambridge industry.
The design aspires to the highest sustainability credentials and includes highly efficient plant, new or refurbished double glazed windows throughout, and newly insulated roof to meet current building regulations.
Generator is located on the south side of Newmarket Road in Cambridge. The building sits on the edge of the Kite Conservation Area.
