We achieved planning consent for this lake-side cafe, which sits within the Greenbelt between Cambridge United football stadium and the Newmarket Road Industrial Estate. The building is strategically placed on the Chisholm Trail, which is a significant piece of cycle infrastructure planned for the city of Cambridge.
The café and associated facilities (WC and repair station) will provide a respite for cyclists and pedestrians. The building has been designed to takes advantage of its water-front location, with full-height glazing opening out to an expansive terrace at the water’s edge.
