OWA were invited to develop proposals for a hall of residence on a site close to the centre of Cambridge.
Our scheme created 300 bedrooms in two courtyard buildings set apart by a new street reconnecting East Road to New Street.
The ground floor is activated with a café, shop and entrances to the residential buildings to create a vibrant, safe space for students and the community. Being Cambridge, secure spaces for 300 bicycles are provided.
Up to 8 bedrooms are clustered around a kitchen and dining space to form smaller student communities.
